The location is less than a 10 minute walk to the Centro where you have plenty of food and entertainment options. Lots of things to do around the area. Cute hotel, simple rooms. A/C in the room that you can control. Historic building, I wish we could have had a better look but time was minimal.

Location is very good, Just a 15-minute walk to Plaza de Armas. Simona is a very good restaurant across the road with excellent vegetarian options. The building is a lovely, restored townhouse and our room called "Ruisenor" was very large and comfortable. Don't miss the Cathedral light-show at 9pm every Saturday - short but sweet

Great location, small comfortable and homey hotel. Spacious rooms. Open space for relaxing with plants in the center, small patio in back for holding classes (I teach fitness classes with the groups I bring to Michoacan). The staff is wonderful; I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it feels like coming home, they are gracious, helpful, and attentive.

This is definitely a hotel of charm and character, and I thoroughly enjoyed my four night stay there. I can warmly recommend it to fellow travellers, as I thought it offered excellent value for money. My bed was most comfortable, and I particularly liked the high ceiling of the room. There was adequate storage and hanging space, and wi-fi connectivity was generally fine. Hot water was available at all times, and the water pressure in the shower was good. The central patio, which all the rooms are adjacent to, is delightful. Breakfast is served there every morning, though you need to pay for it (80 pesos for a good continental breakfast of fresh fruit juice, four kinds of fresh fruit, toast, jam and coffee; no fresh milk, however). I found the staff pleasant and helpful, though none spoke English. There are some decent cafes/restaurants just five minutes' walk from the hotel, overlooking the Jardin de las Rosas. It ticked all the boxes for me.

I made a reservation for my grandparents to stay at this hotel. We had previously stayed at this hotel before, and really liked it, the last time we visited. Unfortunately, I had to work, so I couldn't accompany my grandparents on this trip. However, I wanted them to stay at this hotel again, and I also wanted to pay for the reservation so that they wouldn't have to worry about it. Booking made this super easy, and my grandparent had no problems checking-in. The room my grandparents were given was called "Frida," and my grandma said it was beautiful. She says she can't wait to go back to this hotel again.

Hotel Casa Maria is located in Morelia's historic center within easy walking distance of the city's main plaza and its best restaurants and bars. The rooms are set within an old colonial-era building and are large, clean and comfortable. There is a TV, A/C and good Wi-Fi. A couple of the front desk staff were a bit surly, but otherwise the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere. All in all, a good budget option in a central location.

This is a nice colonial style hotel--rooms around a central courtyard--right in the centro historico. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Provided free parking was close by and easy to access. Nice staff. Lots of hot water for showers and good internet.
